Easy pasta sauce

Ingredients:

  • Pasta (gluten-allergen)

  • Tuna (fish-allergen)

  • Courgette

  • Onion

  • Olive oil

  • Salt-omit if serving to your little one

  • Chilli flakes-omit if serving to your little one

Method:

  1. Add a bit of olive oil in a pan with some finely chopped onion (1/4 of onion is enough);

  2. Dice the courgette finely and add it to the browned onion;

  3. While the courgette are cooking, prepare the pan where you will cook the pasta;

  4. Once the courgettes are cooked or almost cooked add some tuna chunks in leave it to simmer;

  5. In the meantime the water for the pasta is boiling, add a pinch of salt and put the pasta in.

  6. By the time your pasta is cooked your sauce will be ready to be added to the pasta.

Enjoy! This is a super quick (ready in 20 mins) and balanced meal, easy to make and very tasty. Also perfect to bring for a picnic or at work!

Be aware that pasta and tuna are allergens (gluten and fish, respectively) if it is the first time introducing these you should introduce them slowly, one at time and wait for any reaction.

Tuna is okay to introduce to your little one but don’t offer it everyday as it contains high level of mercury.
