About me
Hi there, this is Katia, a Registered Nutritionist in Public Health (RNutr) with an MSc in Nutrition for Global Health from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine which qualifies me as a Public Health Nutritionist.
Upon graduating I started working as a Research Assistant in Cancer and Nutrition at Imperial College London and I have been working there ever since. I love the research field of nutrition which means I get to help who is in need first and foremost. However, after having my daughter Sofia, I have started to become passionate about child nutrition and in particular in the introduction of complementary feeding.
Nutrition is not only about having a food on a plate. It is more than that, it’s about conviviality, family, love, happiness, learning, discovering, healing. It is something that gets people together no matter what. It is a safe place where you get to talk about your day to your loved ones and that’s why it is so important. It is comfort, it is passing on traditions to the next generations.
I am a member of the Association for Nutrition, meaning that the information I am giving you are trustworthy and more importantly evidence-based.
