Healthy Chicken Nuggets Recipe for Picky Eaters | Nutritionist-Approved

Ingredients:

  1. Chicken or turkey breast

  2. 1 egg slightly beaten

  3. Breadcrumbs

  4. Paprika

  5. Black pepper

  6. Salt

  7. Olive oil

  8. Squeeze of lemon to serve

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven at 180/200 degree celsius (this will depend on your oven)

  2. Prepare the tray with parchment paper

  3. In a bowl mix the breadcrumbs with the spices (paprika, black pepper, salt) and a bit of olive oil

  4. Beat the egg slightly

  5. On a chopping board prepare the chicken or turkey breast fillets by cutting them in the shape of chicken nuggets;

  6. Toss them in the egg mixture, one by one, and then in the breadcrumb mixture, place them on the tray

  7. Drizzle some olive oil and put the tray in the oven;

  8. They will be ready in 15-18 minutes;

  • When you cook chicken/poultry in general make sure to wash your hands, chopping boards, utensils, any surface you have been cooking on thoroughly to avoid bacteria to spread in your kitchen.

  • DO NOT WASH CHICKEN/POULTRY/ANY MEAT BEFORE COOKING THIS WILL ALLOW BACTERIA TO SPREAD.

  • Make sure the meat is cooked throughout to avoid food poisoning.
